 Born in Limassol, Cyprus in 1955; the artist started his studies at the Istanbul State
Academy of Fine Arts in 1973. He graduated from the Neşet Güal atelier of
the Academy in 1982 and returned to North Cyprus. He currently works as a freelance
artist and as an art director.
During his student years the artist had study trip to London (1976), where he
studied the great works of art.
Mene participated in several exhibitions in Cyprus, Turkey and abroad. Some of
these exhibitions include: "Contemporary Istanbul Painters" at Moda Cumali
Gallery, the Istanbul State Museum of Fine Arts Mixed Exhibition (1987), and mixed
exhibition at the famous Urart Art Gallery, Istanbul.
