Lefke being one of the most beautiful town in North Cyprus is situated on the northern foot of the Troodos mountains. It is surrounded with the green covered mountains with its cool climate in summer and rather cold in the winter due to being close to the high range mountains.

Lefke is surroounded by various small villages such as Gemikonagi in it's north, Camlikoy in it's east and in it's west with Baglikoy and Yesilirmak. Lefke which is situated in the north west of the island is 74 km away from Lefkosa which is the capital of North Cyprus.

Since Lefke has a furtile soil, it owes this furtility due to its dam which was build for watering the citrus gardens which provides a fairly good income to the people of Lefke. The present population of town is 2000.
