Born in
Nicosia in 1952; the artist graduated from Istanbul State Academy of
Fine Arts with a degree in graphic arts in 1976. She has since been working
as an arts teacher in North Cyprus.
Kozal participated in many mixed exhibitions both in Cyprus and abroad, and
had two personal exhibitions in 1983 and 1985.
Some of her works have been
published as stamps by the Turkish-Cypriot Postal Department, as well as book
covers and posters. She also won many prizes for her graphic arts works. Kozal
was also one of the Turkish Cypriot artists whose works presented at the 1st
Asia-Europe Biennale in 1986.
