 Born
in Limassol, Cyprus in 1944, Hakeri studied painting at the Ankara Gazi
Institute from where he graduated. Upon getting a scholarship from the Italian
government he went to Italy and studied at Perugia Academy of Fine Arts
and graduated from there as well. Upon the completion of his studies there,
Hakeri settled in Italy, and currently works in Perugia.
His works are included in many private collections in Italy, and Cyprus. Some
of the exhibitions he participated are: Nicosia Hilton Art Gallery (1971, 1973),
Perugia Galleria Explorer (1975, 1976), Perugia Sala San Severo (1981), Galleria
Ragno, Umberti (1982).
