 Born in
Akincilar, Nicosia in 1943. After completing
her secondary education at Nicosia Turkish Girls School, she studied Arts at
the Gazi Institute, Ankara, Turkey.
Upon her return to Cyprus, she started teaching and currently is an Arts teacher
at the Dr Fazil Kuchuk Vocational Training High School in Famagusta. Güzelgün
participated in several exhibitions in Cyprus and Turkey, as well as having two
solo exhibits in Cyprus.
