The Municipality
of Lefke had decided to built a park for the people in a place which use to
be orange gardens. The municipality started working on this project in 1983.
When the park was completed many changing have been made during the improvement
of the park.
A small part of the park is
provided for the children to play. In the center of the park there is a statue
of Kemal Atatürk was built. This park is covered by all green grass it is also
decorated by the flowers and lion statue is known that the park was first opened
for the public in 1985.Since than all ceremonies have been holding in this park.
