The school is located on top of
a hill just outside of Lefke. It can be seen from all parts of Lefke. It was
being built in 1955 by British authorities, during the British rule. When the
school was finished Greeks-Turks and English could study. But after the peace
agreement was signed in 1959 a new educational program came in to force.
In the beginning the technical
school was providing two years educational program but later this has been
increased to three years. Many students from different parts of Cyprus use to
came to the school.
At the present, there are160
students are taking courses on different subjects such as electrical,
electronics, motors, etc. The head master of the school is Gurel Ozgurel.
